With a back­ground in ear­ly child­hood edu­ca­tion and a Master’s Degree in Phys­i­cal Edu­ca­tion, Anna has worked with chil­dren and fam­i­lies in Butte Coun­ty for over 20 years. She has led rock climb­ing and back­pack­ing trips for kids, pro­vid­ed extend­ed learn­ing pro­grams for chil­dren liv­ing in dis­in­vest­ed com­mu­ni­ties, man­aged school readi­ness pro­grams in ear­ly child­hood edu­ca­tion, devel­oped the frame­work to launch home vis­it­ing and has facil­i­tat­ed large com­mu­ni­ty col­lab­o­ra­tive efforts focused on mater­nal men­tal health and adverse child­hood expe­ri­ences. She joined the First 5 Butte Coun­ty team in 2008, and rose to Direc­tor in 2019.

Anna is the proud par­ent of two high school stu­dents, and enjoys ski­ing, hik­ing and tak­ing adven­tures with her family.
